At the recently held 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements, the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", in collaboration with IMGGE, received the Grand Award “Step into the Future” for the Most Successful Exhibit for LiverDophilus - probiotic support for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic (fatty) liver disease (MASLD). This product  was developed through a collaborative research project that also involved Phytonet DOO. The product is based on the Lactobacillus helveticus BGRA43 strain from the IMGGE microbial culture collection. A clinical trial is underway with this dietary supplement to confirm its benefits for human health, and further development in the form of fermented milk products is planned.
